Areas of expertise

European market expansion and sales expertise

Three connected disciplines, delivered by one senior partner. Engagements can start with a single question or run as a full market-entry programme.

Core service areas

01

Market Entry & Expansion

From country selection to a live commercial operation. I assess demand, size the opportunity, choose the right entry mode and build a go-to-market plan that fits your product, your margins and your team.

  • Market assessment
  • Country prioritisation
  • Entry-mode strategy
  • Go-to-market planning
02

Distribution & Partner Networks

The right partner decides whether a market works. I map the landscape, approach and qualify distributors, agents and OEM partners, negotiate the terms and put the structure in place to keep them performing.

  • Partner search
  • Due diligence
  • Contract negotiation
  • Channel management
03

Sales & Commercial Acceleration

Turning presence into revenue. I build the pipeline, sharpen pricing and positioning for each market, develop key accounts and step in as interim commercial lead until your own organisation can carry it.

  • Pipeline building
  • Pricing & positioning
  • Key-account development
  • Interim commercial lead

How I work

From question to revenue

01

Assess

I look at your product, margins and ambition, then shortlist the European markets where you can realistically win.

02

Plan

Entry mode, pricing, positioning, partner profile and budget: a plan that names who does what, and by when.

03

Build

Partner search, negotiations, first customer meetings. I work in the market, not from a distance.

04

Scale

Once revenue is running, I hand over a working commercial structure and stay available as an advisor.

Freysig

Track record

A mix of Freysig engagements and the senior commercial roles behind them, different industries, the same job: opening and growing European markets.

2026 -

ProTesCa

Clean energy / biogas & separation technology · Europe

I built the full digital sales and marketing strategy for a biogas equipment and separation-technology company - website architecture, e-commerce integration, SEO framework and commercial positioning - turning deep technical expertise into digital sales conversion.

2025 - 2026

Guardian Glass

Construction / glass · BeNeLux & DACH

I started with Guardian Glass - one of the world's leading glass manufacturers - as a Freysig advisory engagement, then joined as Head of Business Development. I drove strategic growth across BeNeLux and DACH, building long-term partnerships with glaziers, façade specialists, architects and project developers.

2024

Buitelaar

FMCG / pet treats · Europe, focus Germany

I was brought in to define Buitelaar's European entry strategy for the pet-treats market - white-label range recommendations, retail channel strategy (supermarkets, DIY chains, pet stores, e-commerce) and a go-to-market plan with Germany as the primary target.

2018 - 2024

Viking Trailers

Manufacturing / automotive · Europe

As Founder & CEO, I built a trailer brand from zero - product development, production, distribution and a direct-to-consumer e-commerce model - and grew it across European markets.

2016 - 2017

Kenda Tires

Automotive / trailer & caravan · DACH

As Sales Director for the trailer and caravan segment, I built and grew a new business unit across Germany, Austria and Switzerland - retaining key accounts and growing turnover through a product recall and raw-material price pressure.

2007 - 2016

Trigano

Leisure vehicles / trailers · 20+ European markets

I spent nearly a decade at Trigano - Europe's leader in its sector - rising from Area Sales Manager to Export Director reporting to the CEO. I built and ran export across 20+ markets from the Nordics to Southern Europe, opening new territories and delivering consistent annual turnover growth (20-24% in my final years as Director).

Bring me the market question

Most engagements begin with one question: is this country worth it? Send it over and I will tell you honestly what I think.
